1st Anniversary

Well... sorry to any and all who might have been trying to keep track of this couple on the East Coast. I know that this is way late... but we had enough free time to take a trip up to NYC for our first anniversary... and life has only been a flurry of busy activity since.

It was a great trip since we were able to take in a Broadway show (Le Mis'erables), sailed past Lady Liberty, visit the Museum of Natural History
and Metropolitan Museum of Art. Many nice long walks in Central Park (by far our favorite place), time square, ground zero, and many subway stations ;).

So one year is completed, and the verdict is that life is good... and we can't wait to see how much God will grow, challenge, strengthen, stretch, develop, and love us in the next year!

we'd wondered if you were gonna update things--so it was good to hear about your anniversary trip. i saw "les mis" this summer on broadway, too. had completed some hiking and was in NYC till flying back. things going very well with church, AWANA, youth group, etc. Many new people who are "hungry"! Tried Faith Free (which is a good church) but came here looking for something "better"(?). Our young couples are excited. Gotta do some more remodeling, etc.
Finishing up Revelation and headed into 1 Timothy. Brett preaches this Sun. am. We treated the Williams' to supper for Pastor appreciation!
Hope we hear more directly and/or on this site.

Sounds like things are going well! It's nice to hear that... I often think of all the VBS kids and how they have grown up and how they are doing spiritually.

Got through Rev? Thats always a nice book to tackle ;)

We pray that God continues to bless!
